Story: When the motorcyclist Johnny Blaze finds that his father Barton Blaze has terminal cancer, he accepts a pact with Mephistopheles, giving his soul for the health of his beloved father. But the devil deceives him, and Barton dies in a motorcycle accident during an exhibition. Johnny leaves the carnival, his town, his friends, and his girlfriend Roxanne. Many years later, Johnny Blaze becomes a famous motorcyclist, who risks his life in his shows, and he meets Roxanne again, now a television reporter. However, Mephistopheles proposes Johnny to release his contract if he become the “Ghost Rider” and defeat his evil son Blackheart, who wants to possess one thousand evil souls and transform hell on Earth.

This is possibly the most depressing comic book movie ever made, and one of the worst in the history of comics in general.
The film was written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson and stars Nicolas Cage as Johnny Blaze, Ghost Rider, in a supporting role. Cage plays a motorcycle daredevil who sells his soul to the true devil to make his own profit. Mephistopheles sets out to meet Johnny and offers to give Johnny's soul back if he defeats Blackheart. Johnny discovers that he is obsessed with the ghost driver, also known as the devil's bounty hunter.
Ghost Rider then quickly and easily finds a way to kill him and then floats into the wind, mocking him for not being physically harmed by wind. If you thought movies might be better when you were a ghost driver, think again. Give him a watch at some point, there's a good chance you'll change your mind in the end.
The problem I see is that although he is considered a comic book hero, many children will think that Satan is perhaps not that bad and that he developed him to fight evil beings. Ghost Rider is a great movie, and one that every comic book fan will enjoy. It doesn't deliver the action well, but it's still a fun and entertaining film with a good story and plenty of action.
Ghost Rider is one of those films I don't hate, but I don't want to see it again, and I like that there are people who don't like to remember seeing it as much as most of us who have seen it. Ghost Rider was a hell of a fun to watch and is a great addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and to comic books in general. Just to say I'm just getting away from it and like what I just said, it's a good movie and one that's worth every comic book fan.
Ghost Rider doesn't have a good script, it's a story in tatters and without explanation, and it struggles with the development of story and characters. It's an entertaining film fuelled by positive aspects, but I don't watch Ghost Rider again because of its poor script or lack of story.
There are some fans who have not praised that, and I am not one of them. Cage plays Johnny Blaze / Ghost Rider in the sequel, which makes all the difference in terms of body language. He goes into the flames dizzy, but he's still not as good as the original character he played in his debut.
I've never been a big fan, but if nothing else, Ghost Rider itself looks pretty awesome. It's hard to notice when he spits out crappy lines, and when they do, it's like: 'I'm going to kill shit now. The story is ridiculous on screen and doesn't really work in terms of character development or plot. In the few comics I've read, I can't even speak for him, so I've never heard much, if anything, from him.
Mark Steven Johnson, who also wrote Daredevil, really misses the point of what should be a ghost rider story. Remarkably, despite the description, Ghost Rider fits well into the comic book genre, but it doesn't achieve perfection.
However, there was a surprise success, and Ghost Rider produced a sequel due to the growing popularity of the comic series. The sequel, titled "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance," was released in 2004, with Keanu Reeves as the title character. Cage returned to Ghost Riders in 2006 with his own spin-off film, "The Cage." In a final version, reduced to "Constantine," Keananu Reeve played the lead role, this time as the villain, not the hero.
In April 2003, director Mark Steven Johnson, who had just directed "Daredevil" at Fox, took the helm of "Ghost Rider" and brought it to the big screen, with Cage returning in the lead role, this time as the villain.
Years later, Johnny was and is a world-famous daredevil, but by night he became Ghost Rider, a legend of Marvel Comics. Years later, Johnny is a globetrotter - and becomes the "Ghost Rider" (the Marvel comic book legend).
Ghost Rider starts off on a bad note, but is defeated with virtually no effort and is quickly gone before flames engulf the title character. The bad guys use their powers against Ghost Rider and immediately start begging for his help - but it doesn't even make sense - he defeats and then destroys them. Blackheart, supported by three elementals, follows the same pattern: He puts his forces on the villain, then stands up and destroys him.
I wish I could say the critics are wrong or that it's just me, but Ghost Rider really, really sucks. There are good and bad films that know they are bad, and that's why it can end up being a drunken film festival, that's all I know.
