Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a corporate predator of the first order, and he infiltrates the other man's head to steal his ideas. His mind is so powerful that his immune system is immune to it, but this has never happened before.
The film here draws on the best practices of Heist movies, but here Michael Caine appears on the big screen and we assume that he is cleverer than the other characters. He is a brilliant young architect who is a prodigy at creating space, and on that day he has to meet the boss of the company he works for, an old friend of Cobb's.
Saito wants him to introduce an idea that would lead to the capitulation of his rival group. Why does Cobb need an architect to create space in his dreams, and why does it seem to change where he is? As we all know, dreams had the power not only to change architecture, but also to change people's lives.
It is no coincidence that Ariadne is named after the woman in Greek mythology who helped Theseus escape the labyrinth of the Minotaur. Cobb teaches them about the control of dreams, and Nolan also uses this tool to teach us about the power of dreams and their role in human development.
The most impressive is Paris, where the city is literally returning to its former glory. In the trailer, the whole thing seems pointless, but in the film, it's actually quite impressive.
Anyone who has ever seen a commercial film knows that film architecture ignores gravity, and the shootings, chase scenes, and explosions depicted in movies today seem alternately real and figurative. There is a weapon - a wielding bodyguard who acts as the mental equivalent of an antibody; to protect fishermen, he is concerned with protecting fishermen. It is as if he does not care that he is being persecuted and chased, but there is nothing wrong with him, so he continues to lead him. Nolan is so good at getting away with it that one of his chases involves a chase that I almost forgot when I thought it was a scene that had become so standard.
The film is a confusing labyrinth of simple passages and lines and will surely inspire endless analysis on the net. The reason Cobb is motivated to risk the risk of conception is his wife Mal's grief and guilt. Nolan helps with the emotional threads, but the narrative is explained in the context of Cobb's relationship with Mal and his feelings of guilt and grief.
There are a number of interesting moments in the film, such as Cobb's relationship with his wife Mal and his feelings of guilt and grief.
Cotillard is wonderfully idealized as the woman and Mal transform into an emotional magnet, and the love between the two provides emotional constants in Cobb's otherwise ever-changing world. Seeing Cobb in the memories of his dreams is hard to say, even literally to the last picture, but even then it's literally hard to see him in the memory of them - to say.
