Story:
Robert is an ordinary man who is faced with extraordinary circumstances. He is locked in a meat freezer by Russian thugs who believe that he owes them 8 million dollars. Robert, who is in every frame of the film soon discovers that he is not alone in the freezer. Sam, a stranger, is also locked in with him, and it becomes a struggle to survive the cold and the forces that are against them.

As befits a film about a gangster with his hands in his legs, the film opens with McDermott as a nice guy who hands himself over to the mafia. It turns out that Robert is discovered in a scene in which $8 million of Mafia loot has disappeared, and might just as well be mistaken for an undercover police officer involved in this plan.
Robert does what he can to stay warm, but things come to a screeching halt and the gangster leaves again. Robert's ingenuity is sometimes reminiscent of Robert Ford's character of being lost, causing sporadic surprises throughout the film, and he soon finds someone like him in the freezer, Sam, to whom he looks up. This conversation rarely raises the stakes and only adds depth to the characters, while McDermott can provide little more than a few lines of dialogue about his character's motivations.
After being shot in an exchange of gunfire with a gangster, he is badly wounded and in need of attention, but he is unable to fight.
The freezer begins with Robert McDermott waking up tied up in a meat tray and trying to figure out why he is confronted by Alisa Snigir, who works for the Russian mob that claims to have $8 million in her possession. He lets Robert know that the woman is not a hostage, but the gangster's girlfriend and son. After trying to explain that he is the wrong person, he finds his way to the locker before it is too late, as undercover detective Sam Gurov (Facinelli) has also been injured.
As time runs out, we wonder who really has the money and what Robert's real involvement in the kidnapping is.
Alisa, now visibly shaken, tells Stepan that Robert has accused him of taking the money and he kills Kiril with a meat hook. Furious at Kiril's death, he drags Alisa into the freezer and locks her up again, but before he can escape, he puts Robert out of action.

Robert (Dylan McDermott) is an unhappy mechanic who wakes up with his hands and feet tied. It turns out that none of them understand English, but before they leave, they tell a confused Robert that they want money.
Robert realizes that he is in an uncomfortable and difficult situation and that something is wrong. He has no idea where he is, but he soon realizes that it is terribly cold there, and he realizes that something is wrong with him, something that is not quite right with me.
