Review

The plot is thinly-veiled, with some impressive plot twists, but it's as convoluted nonsense as heart and soul. It's almost incomprehensible, almost babbling nonsense, full of clichés and clichés and just plain boring.

Millionaire crime boss Musar Assad is negotiating a deal with a reputable diamond gang that will end in diamonds and cash. Mussa is determined to buy a diamond cut from Star East and sends his right-hand man Olechka to complete the deal. He goes on the run to pursue his younger friend, who is one of Musar's thugs.

Ruslan, who was hired by the casino security pool, is no secret in the search for his beloved Aliya. Ruslan approaches the deal as Mr. Los Angeles, but forgets about it and makes a deal himself. At a recent Wharton Leadership Lecture, the CEO of Star East, a major diamond company in the United States, presented his multimedia presentation on international diamond companies.
Using the props, it becomes clear that diamonds actually existed long before dinosaurs roamed the earth.

The diamond's most notable asset is its ability to make it a valuable asset to the global economy, which is recommended to anyone involved in conflict diamonds. After looking back on the history of De Beers, one of the world's leading diamond mining and marketing companies, founded in South Africa in 1888, Penny explains the radical changes they have made to their business model. In order to become the world's leading diamond company, they developed a strategy based on controlling the supply and distribution of diamonds and the marketing of their products and services.

It must be said that this book follows a well-trodden path of reviving the old stories of leading figures in the history of the diamond industry, and as a result suffers from many significant knowledge gaps. That would be perfectly acceptable, indeed entertaining, if Smillie had also examined the history of this industry comprehensively and critically.

But everyone else says the rest of the cast look uncomfortable and miserable in their mannerisms, and I'm sure they're right.

I haven't seen a film in a while that wastes such a cast, and that includes Don Wilson and Bolo Yeung. There are some talented actors who have gone through career highs and still managed to get down there, Boris Karloff springs to mind, but Peter O'Toole deserves much better. He is a talented actor who has had many ups and downs over the years and was one of the most underrated actors of his generation.

It's interesting how he would have fared in a film like this, but he's the main reason I've seen him. It starts with some good things, and that's what I try to be fair as a reviewer and try to see the best in every bad movie.

The photography and production design is not bad at all, with an overall colorful and smooth look. Soviet production accounted for an estimated 2.5% of the film's total production budget, or about $3 million.

We see the concessions made by the cartel to keep a large part of the Soviet diamonds under their control. DeBeers guaranteed the estimated terms of their contract with the Soviet Union, allowing them to cut and sell the remaining five percent on their own. It is also believed that the price paid for them exceeded the prevailing cartel price by 10 cents, but we do not see any evidence of this.
In Carter's absence, Zyir Mecca is now joint head of the cartel, and he oversees day-to-day operations to the best of his ability. He realizes that he does not have the same level of power as his predecessor, but he realizes that he has just as much volume and power. Conscious that they possess not only great quantities, but also great power, they soon agree to join forces.

In addition to the fight to revive the cartel, Mecca and Zyir face personal problems that must be resolved.

Whenever a sharp rise in gemstones threatens to drive down artificially high prices, De Beers uses its financial power to siphon them off and keep them out of the market. For centuries, corporate bosses had no qualms about using the tactics needed to extract diamonds from the crumbling parts of the old Soviet Union and its war - fragmented pieces, as the cartel's influence on markets was threatened. In recent months, however, both companies have closed some of these bits and vowed not to buy conflict diamonds on the open market, and the cartels "influence on markets is threatened by the arrival of a new generation of high-quality, low-cost diamonds.

They have even started a certification program to show that their gems are clean, and they are even starting to market them to the largest retailers in the world.
