The Collection is the second in a series of films written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton and released on November 30, 2012. The film, co-written and directed by Dunston, stars Josh Stewart, who reprises his role from the first film, alongside Arkin in his first feature-length role since his debut in The Collection in 2001.

Directed by Marcus Dunstan, the sequel takes place a few weeks after Collector and follows Arkins O'Brian (Josh Stewart), who manages to escape the collector (Randall Archer) only to witness a girl named Elena (Emma Fitzpatrick) being kidnapped by a killer. After recovering in a hospital, he is forced to help a group of mercenaries led by Mr. Peters, a man named Lucello (Patrick Melton). In the past, Mr Peters has told his daughter, young Elena, about his past as a mercenary and his involvement in his father's murder.

A man who has escaped a serial killer known as a collector (Randall Archer) is blackmailed into freeing an innocent girl from the killer's booby trap. Arkin leads the mercenaries to Collector's Shelter in an abandoned hotel to save Elena and kill Collector.

The collector was published in 2009 and although it was not a great success, it attracted the attention of many people. I wasn't a fan of the film itself, as it felt like torture porn and bore many similarities to the Saw series. The collector has not tried to appeal to a particular audience, even though it comes from a few writers from the "Saw" series, but it is still a great film.

The Collection is the sequel to the 2009 film "The Collector" and fits a sequel because it has many of the same themes as the first film.

One is a man who escapes a serial killer named "The Collector," who is then forced to rescue an innocent girl from the killer's booby trap. The last time we saw him, he had taken Arkin as part of his sadistic collection. In the collection we learn that the collector dressed in black is busy with his own collection of human remains.
The evening begins rather boring for Elena (Emma Fitzpatrick) as she makes plans to go to bed early, but her boyfriend cancels the date.

After the news that a killer is at large, she decides to go to a nightclub with her friends. Shortly after we arrived at the club, we see that the whole club was blown up by the killer from the previous movie. Arkin (Josh Stewart) from previous movies falls in love with a suitcase that Elena finds in a back room when she opens it. After a few glasses of Scotch, her father sleeps in his bed with his wife and daughter, and without sending any messages, Elena (Emma Fitzpatrick) decides to go out.

When she goes to a top-secret nightclub with a few friends, the exuberant mood ends in a bloodbath, when almost everyone is mown down by a threshing machine that falls from the ceiling. This sets in motion a series of spinning death blades that basically kill everyone in the entire club.

Elena is the only survivor, stumbling over one of the killer's suitcases, opening it and freeing former prisoner Arkin (Josh Stewart) before she is caught. Escaped insidiously from her trunk, guided by nothing But her bra straps, Elena begins her own hair - increasing journey to find a way out of her hellish surroundings.

She is in the clutches of a very rich man (Christopher McDonald) who will do anything to get her back. One picks up exactly where she left off, the other leaves her to escape the collector who has taken her prisoner in an underground prison where everyone has died. Brought back from peril to free Arkin, she is a heroine, an ex - a con man who keeps his hands clean and does pretty much everything in his power to save others - an arc that Stewart depicts in a commanding manner without any self-awareness - a congratulatory histrionics.

When Elena's wealthy father (Christopher McDonald) learns of his daughter's disappearance, he hires a group of mercenaries to rescue her from the collector's clutches. A team of mercenaries, led by her long-time partner Lucello (Lee Tergesen), is hired to try to wrestle her down and save her.

The only man who can escape the wrath of this hideous monster is the mercenary, who is forced by the mercenaries to guide them through a cruel labyrinth.

Fitzpatrick is superb as the Killer Collector, while Andre Royo of The Wire (including a terrific performance from his co-star Michael C. Hall) provides great fodder for Collector's killers.

It's a blissfully brutal thrill ride that amplifies action and gore, making this film a must-see for any horror collector. The Collection is a great horror film that includes some of the best performances of its kind in recent years. Collector's past as a prisoner has become a realization of his past, and he realizes that he and his family face deadly chases.
