Story:
There is not one universe, but there are many, which is a multiverse. Supposing you are just one person, there are many other versions of you in the other universes, there are ways to travel, but only a police agency, MVA, can travel only for police procedures. Gabriel Yulaw is a former MVA agent, who killed another version of himself in self-defense. It made the other versions of him stronger. When Yulaw found out about this, he became power-hungry killing the 122 other versions for two years. After killing Lawless and getting captured by his former partner Roedecker and a new MVA agent Funsch, Yulaw managed to escape the prison and is trying to kill his last target, Gabe Law who is a police officer. He is also at Yulaw’s strength. Roedecker and Funsch now have to arrest Yulaw before he can kill Gabe. There is a possibility that the universe could die or make Yulaw invincible. At the heart of One lurks a big question, and I suppose it's one of the most important questions in the entire universe, if not the entire universe. If you could travel back and forth, there would be 124 universes, so why would you want to destroy all the other 123 versions?
One of them was thoroughly discussed by Yulaw and Jet Li, the villains of the film, and understandably we all know the answer. One, but it is also played by JetLi,
After killing 123 people, Yulaw has the power of 124, and apparently his powers are distributed to the survivors every time one dies. The nursing home is full of old geese who have outlived their peers and now have the strength of 124, meaning they can bend sticks with their bare hands and create powerful stool movements with contemptible ease.
Yulaw hopes to attain his powers, but the narrator hints that he could become God and thus end all creation by killing. As for this guy, I don't want him to get into a fight or take any risks, so I'm going to kill him.
Maybe Yulaw is just a megalomaniac who is allowed to beat up everyone in the room, or maybe this is a figure who must have motivation for a good one, because life is only a competitive sport for others. This theory of God is theologically unfounded, because God works from top to bottom and does not get to where he is by eliminating competition.
At the beginning of the film, Yulaw defeats one of his other selves, and then takes command. Gabe knows nothing about the multiverse, but he plays by the rules, so he fits in well with YULaw.
Meanwhile, in his home universe, Yulaw is pursued by two of his other selves, Delroy and his wife and girlfriend. Carla Gugino plays the wife, her friend and their sidekicks from both worlds.
The possibilities of the plot are endless, with a variety of characters, characters of different races and characters from different worlds, the possibilities of the plot endless.
Unfortunately, the film is only interested in fight scenes and uses the latest computer-generated effects to show various Jet Li characters throwing enemies into the air, dodging bullets and holding a motorcycle in each hand. The titanic final battle is written in the same style as the first two films, with the final epic confrontation taking place. But where the fight falls into oblivion is the last scene in which they fight in front of the camera, in the middle of a dark room with no light.
Donnie Darko is a masterpiece by comparison, but it offers brainless high-tech action without interesting dialogue, characters, motivations or textures.
