Story:
Set in 2031, the entire world is frozen except for those aboard the Snowpiercer. For 17 years, the world’s survivors are on a train hurtling around the globe creating their own economy and class system. Led by Curtis, a group of lower-class citizens living in squalor at the back of the train are determined to get to the front of the train and spread the wealth around. Each section of the train holds new surprises for the group who have to battle their way through. A revolution is underway.

When a filmmaker describes his film as a political allegory, it can be difficult to discuss its metaphorical content without feeling a bit trapped in his interpretative work. This is undoubtedly the case with Snowstorm, a French graphic novel based on the novel of the same name by Jean-Claude Van Damme, which depicts a world in a sealed train driven by a perpetual motion locomotive and circling a frozen post-apocalyptic earth.
Chris Evans and Song Kang are the stars of the film, but the cast is packed with characters from the worlds of South Korea, China and the US. The film marks the return of Ah-Sang, who switched from "Hurt" to "Ah-Sung" in the first two films of the series, as well as a number of other popular characters.
Given how great Snowpiercer's premise is, it is hardly surprising that it has now been turned into a US TV series. The series has long been in the works, with Tomorrow Studios acquiring the rights back in 2015. Downward, where weekly new episodes will drop on a date yet to be revealed.

The back of the train is inhabited by the unwashed masses in cramped accommodation that resembles the cramped cabins of Lost in Translation rather than a modern station. The subjugation of these muddled masses naturally leads to revolt, and Curtis (Chris Evans) is urged to lead an uprising against the disenfranchised. But the elites who run this bandwagon are only making headlines, feeding mercury-brown protein blocks, suppressing unrest, and feeding the most mercury-brown proteins in the block.
This fascinating film is based on a French graphic novel and was developed by Kelly Masterson and screenwriter Taut, who wrote the screenplay with her husband and screenwriter David Fincher. By wisely focusing on the have-nots and not - have - nots at the back of the train, the film allows the audience to get to know the front compartment at the same time as Curtis, an effective storytelling device that amplifies the mystery and creates an increasing sense of tension. The Mother Host is a lot of film at once, but you know the devil is in it and you're dead.

Throughout the films, humanity remains buried under the snow, and the survivors circle the frozen globe in ever-moving trains.
TV show will follow much closer to Armageddon, it seems that Bong's film will be set in the United States, as indicated in the entire film. So the main event could be a failed rebellion, triggering the journey of Chris Evans "character Curtis.
